The purpose of the governance workshop is to review the role of your Centres board/committee and to ensure that attendees have an understanding of best practice governance.
The workshop is based on the Sport NZ 9 Steps to Effective Governance and includes topics such as: Board/committee structure roles and responsibilities, having the right people on your Board/Committee, Succession planning,
Providing strategic leadership, Making board/committee meetings count.
The sessions will be adapted to cater to the wide variety of sizes and structures of our Centres so will be suitable for all of the Zones Centres to attend.

Rotorua Netball Centre, Malfroy Road, Westbrooke, Rotorua.
