This session is aimed to educate coaches and/or players about pre-season training and includes a 6-week training plan.
Learn how to coach and adapt activities in NSDWU. Transitioning appropriate movements from the NSDWU right through to the first whistle.
These specialist session focus on specific skills and can be delivered as single sessions or a combination. The session is useful for coaches and players who want to learn about safe movement skills and the specific training that support these skills.
Engage and learn the fundamentals of landing, how to transfer this skill into activities and then apply it to the game.
Develop strong, resilient and powerful players.
These workshops are available for any tournament and can be flexible to meet the needs of your team. Brief overviews of topics are shown in our “Top 10 Tournament Tips” resource and any area can be explored in more depth.
This session is aimed to educate umpires and umpire coaches about pre-season training and includes a 6-week training plan.
Prepares umpires for the unique movements of umpiring and reducing the risk of injury associated with umpiring.
Learn how to prepare for the season, week and the day. The importance of load management, nutrition and recovery.
NetballSmart is a holistic programme aimed at minimising the risk for injury. The session will help coaches to bring NetballSmart to life, assist players in learning some great life skills and help develop healthy Netballers!
This session explores the 6 fundamentals of NetballSmart and how these can benefit your players. This workshop has an online and practical component.

NNZ provides online learning and examination options as pre-requisites for Umpire Awards. Candidates need to ensure they have access to a computer with a good internet connection.

All exams will be conducted online, each exam costs $55. Payment details will be sent to the applicants after registrations have closed. If your Netball Centre is paying for your exam, this can be done in one payment directly to Netball New Zealand, details will be in the payment email.
