2019 Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone Awards

The Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Netball Awards are being held on Wednesday, 28th August 2019 to acknowledge the hard work and commitment by both athletes and those behind the scenes who all contribute to the/our sport in the Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone. Nominations are now open for the following categories for the 2019 Netball Awards:

  • Winger Splice Construction Magic Player of the Year
  • Claudelands Splice Construction Magic Most Improved Player of the Year
  • SkyCity Splice Construction Magic Players Player of the Year
  • Bartercard Splice Construction Magic Members Player of the Year
  • Hobbiton™ Movie Set WBOP BNL Player of the Year
  • Craigs Investment Partners WBOP BNL Break through Player of the Year
  • Active Health Waikato Talent Pathway Most Improved Player
  • Challenge Netball Centre of the Year
  • The Breeze Waikato 99.4FM Club of the Year
  • Latitude Solutions Netball Centre Programme/Initiative of the Year
  • USL Sport Healthcare School of the Year
  • School Programme/Initiative of the Year
  • Latitude Solutions Performance Coach of the Year
  • Gallaghr Official of the Year
  • Rothbury Insurance Brokers Community Coach of the Year
  • Administrator of the Year
  • Hawaiian Airlines Volunteer of the Year

The Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Netball Awards will be a prestigious event that offers our Zone the opportunity to acknowledge and pay tribute to the many fine sporting achievements by the Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty netball community over the last year.

Generic Eligibility

Nominations CLOSED
Judging period: 31st August 2018 - 31st July 2019

  • Volunteers, paid staff, amateur and professional players are eligible.
  • The nominee must have clearly demonstrated loyalty to the Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone
  • Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty reserves the right to forward any nominations to any National, Regional or Sub-Regional Sports Awards.
  • Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty reserves the right to include any nominees deemed worthy for any sections that have not been nominated.
  • Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty reserves the right to make special presentations to worthy recipients at the Awards function.
  • To be eligible for a nomination in any category, the individual/team must be at least Secondary School Year 9 or above age group.
  • Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty reserves the right to move nominees from one category to the other as deemed fit.

Judges decisions are final and correspondence may not be entered into
