In May 2024, Netball Northern released the Auckland Region Netball Facility Plan 2024.
Initiated through the Auckland Region Facilities Working Group, the plan was formulated by Visitor Solutions Ltd with input from Auckland Council, Aktive and netball centres within the Auckland Region.
The Plan works to identify the current and future demand for Auckland Region netball courts, and outlines our priorities for netball facility investment over the next ten years.
By providing robust analysis, the Plan acts as a collective voice, and supports our netball centres when working with local boards, funders and communities.

This plan comes after the Auckland Region Netball Facility Plan 2015 which was successful in supporting the delivery of $5 million investment into Auckland Region netball facilities.

It includes Fundamental Movement Skills, Athlete Development, and Technical & Tactical Netball Skills, and includes a comprehensive programme outline complete with session plans, and provides multiple delivery formats so that your can tailor the programme to meet the needs of your players at your Netball Centre.

Positive Vibes Only is a region-wide campaign by Sport Waikato to improve adult behaviours to positively influence the experiences of tamariki and rangatahi in sport. The very first Positive Vibes Only campaign was delivered as a pilot between Hamilton City Netball Centre and Sport Waikato, and has now grown to be delivered by multiple different Regional Sporting Organisations across the Waikato region.
