Umpires are doing their bit to keep pace with Netball Central’s budding stable of top-quality players, coaches and officials to emerge from the Zone.

With a place in the grand final assured, Central are keen to maintain a clean sheet when they meet the Northern Marvels in Monday’s penultimate round of the Beko Netball League.

Highlighting its strong presence at under-21 level, three players from Netball Central have been included in the New Zealand team to contest the Netball World Youth Cup Gaborone 2017 (NWYC2017) in July.

With three rounds remaining, pushing to new levels remains a strong motivator for high-flying Central despite having already secured a place in June’s Beko Netball League grand final.

Extending their buffer at the top of the table has not detracted from Central’s focus for the key match-up against Mainland in the Beko Netball League in Christchurch on Sunday.

After reaching the halfway point of the Beko Netball League unscathed, Central’s intent for the second half of the campaign is simply to keep getting better.
